Touch Wood have been designing and producing solid wood furniture in our Mansfield workshop for more than thirty years.
From the early 1980s we specialised in traditional pine furniture, and in the mid 1990s we successfully introduced the Provence range and the Dukeries Collection in traditionally crafted oak furniture.
The Touch Wood furniture range has evolved over the years to embrace different lifestyles and moods in response to our customers' needs. We recently created the Maun and Sherwood ranges of contemporary oak furniture as well as the 4Fx and Solar ranges of stylish pine bedroom furniture.
Because of our small size, Touch Wood are able to quickly produce your furniture to order. Pine furniture will be finished in your choice of nine wood stains, and then either hand waxed or lacquer polished.
Alternatively, our new painted and waxed finishes in Trevi, Capri, Vecchio and Umbria, and our washes in Frost and Olive give that special touch to pine in more adventurous room schemes.
The classic styling of our Dukeries collection has a patina finish skillfully applied to enhance the very best of the English craftsmanship, while the Provence range is beautifully bold in its strong, direct lines, with the natural figuring of the oak highlighted by the antique beeswax polish.
Modern oak furniture can be stained in your choice of colour and waxed or lacquered. The Meden range uses oiled oak.
